![]() Hard Money Saints: Jack Rainwater, Guitar, Vocals. Guitar influences range from Iggy and The Stooges, Iron Maiden, Motor head Link wray and Carl Perkins. Vocal Influences, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Joe Strummer, Ian Hunter. Jacks guitar sound can move from a country boogie to a shredding metal solo in the blink of an eye, while vocally Jack likes to mix a little country crooning with some 70's hard rock stylings to keep things interesting. Armando Nienhuser, Bass, vocals. A seasoned Veteran of several regional Rockabilly acts including Billy Dwayne and the Creepers, James Hunnicutt and the Revolvers and Knut Bell and the Blue Collers Mondo brings a ferocity to the Upright Bass and is an unmovable force to be reckoned with both on stage and off, with hundreds of HMS shows under his belt and huge audience approval Mondo has truly earned his rightful place as a Hard Money Saint Nich Scott, Drums, vocals. Old school Punk is where Nich cut his teeth on drums and while he brings this energy to the Saints it's obvious his heart is in first wave Psychobilly. Taking the beats from the first two HMS recordings and turning them into his own Nich has quickly won over fans all over the region and continues to take the material to new levels nightly. His experience as an upright bassist allow him to lock in with Mondo and create the run away train rhythm that fans have come to expect. The aggressive dedication and heart of the Hard Money 'Saints (Now!) rhythm section coupled with the versatility of Rainwaters vocals and guitar provide a show that keeps the audience lambasted from start to finish. The style of songs vary enough and are delivered with such a rapid fire pace that audiences are engaged for the whole set. Hard Money Saints music originates from traditional Rockabilly and Country But adds the influences of modern rock punk and metal to create a unique more original sound.
The Georgetown Orbits boast a heavy regimen of traditional Ska and upbeat, roots-influenced Reggae. They are turning heads in the Northwest as one of the few bands to pay tribute to the old sounds of Jamaican Ska, a style which has gained notable popularity in Seattle since the band's conception in late 2004. With the release of the group's full-length self-titled debut album in August 2007, the sounds of the Orbits have further penetrated the airwaves of the Northwest earning airplay on 90.3FM KEXP and 91.3FM KBCS (Seattle), 90.7FM KSER (Everett), 89.9FM KGRG (Auburn), and KPSU 1450AM (Portland). Fans of reggae, dancehall, funk, soul, jazz, ska, and rock are now singing along to choruses while they dance to the hard-hitting rhythms and tastefully harmonized horn lines of the Georgetown Orbits. Vicci Martinez, the 24-year-old Tacoma WA native, has been turning people on to her music since she was 14, when she started playing rooms she wasn't old enough to be in. Years later, not all that much has changed. The rooms are bigger, Vicci's core following more devout, but she's still breaking stereotypes and all expectations. Vicci has carved her niche in the musical echelon, and has done it her way. "The music business is a scary thing. Just like a current, always moving, always changing, and if you don't flow with it, you drown, or you at least work a lot harder. I feel like we do our own thing. For the right reasons, music can be healing, bring smiles to your faces, or tears to your eyes." Vicci Martinez-Joyride When the boys were caught runnin their Uncle Jesse's moonshine, he made a deal with the State of Georgia that he would never make another batch of... No, wait. That's The Dukes of Hazzard......Late 70's Outlaw country. Songs about drugs, alcohol, witches, ghosts, girls, gunslingers and a wooden indian. And if THAT ain't country... Life Cycle is originally from Tacoma WA. Joshua Jay and Burn One have known each other their entire life (beings they are Brothers). Burn One and DJ Hanibal met in 9th grade. Since both of them were Graff writers, they clicked instantly. At the time Joshua Jay and Burn one were rapping with alot of different people but nothing was ever serious. Around '99 or '00 DJ Hanibal got his first decks and the 3 of them started making mix tape tracks . Burn began messing around with computer based beat making programs and was hooked on the production side of things. He decided to buy an MPC and from there it was history. Burn and Joshua Jay , over a few short years , built a studio and began recording tracks for what would eventually be Life Cycle's debut album "City of Rust" (releasing early '08) The group could have came out with many full length albums but decided to really hone their talent and release a solid album. After moving to Seattle in early 2006, Joshua Jay and Burn One focused on music, recording a ton of material, progressing very rapidly and solidifying their "sound". Life Cycle Stays true to the roots of Hip Hop while advancing the music forward.
